Your daughter is growing up fast and her 16th birthday will arrive soon. Planning her sweet 16 birthday party is an event that you have probably often thought about, as she was growing up. But now that it is actually arriving, your creative powers seem to have fled and you are at a loss on what to do to make her 16th birthday really special.
First thing to do is relax. If you have not asked your daughter what type of sweet 16 birthday party she would like, then do so now. 2. Plan a fabulous masquerade ball. Dressing up in wonderful costumes and dancing to favorite tunes is a sure delight for teens; in fact, most anyone loves a masquerade ball. Put some effort into making the room used for dancing super fabulous. Use special lighting and plenty of balloons. If the budget permits, a favorite local band would be wonderful.

Selecting a gift for her sweet 16th birthday is often easy, because most kids love talking about what they would love to get for their birthday well in advance of the date. Probably the most favorite gift is a new car, but very few of us can afford this. However, a diamond necklace, a pink laptop, or a pink iPod are the type of gifts that most any girl would love to receive. Be sure to consider her hobbies. If she loves golf, then a set of ladies golf clubs would make an awesome gift as well.
